Helen & Mike : Ritz Carlton-Laguna Niguel : July 4th, 2009

Sometimes I can be proud to take a percentage of the responsibility for the beautiful weddings I plan, but sometimes, I have to admit, I just have a client with impeccable taste! Helen was just that bride! She is the best kind of perfectionist who truly appreciates the details of life, not just on her wedding day. She can tell you the absolute best place in the world for anything from wineries to macarons to makeup. Because of this she, and her handsome new husband, Mike, were such a treat to work with.

Because of her (and her mother's) eye for detail, even the smallest touches were given lots of thought. We scoured many sources for the perfect cake plate, looked high and low for a vintage wheel barrow, shopped for just the right type of lemon to use for the place settings and she even commissioned Laura Hooper to custom create the gift box for envelopes. She truly was a girl after my own heart. And, the result, was a chic and sophisticated, French Countryside event.

Check out the amazing images from Mary Jane Weddings below. There are way more than I usually post, but it was so hard to narrow them down! (I personally love the series of the groom cutting up the dance floor.)

Here are the vendors who made it all possible:

Photography: Mary Jane Weddings
Videography: Russell Fowler
