Where in the World is Beth Helmstetter Events

So, let me take a brief moment to say how utterly excited I am for 2010! We have a lot of behind the scenes projects coming up and even a few hush hush events on the books for the year that we can't wait to share when the time is right! But, first, I wanted to take a moment to tell you about all of the amazing locations we are traveling to this year. I know, I know. I'm one of those uber lucky people that probably annoy the heck out of you, however, I share these destinations, not to brag, but because I have a great mix of locations this year that I think could inspire any bride or planner. Some are amazing standbys that everyone loves. Some are really off the beaten path, that again, everyone will love! No matter what though, if you are a travel bug yourself, I'm sure you can appreciate the inspiration to be found in any of these breathtaking locations!

With that being said, WHERE IS YOUR DESTINATION WEDDING BEING HELD? I'm dying to know!!!

Cape Cod
A quaint 30 person wedding filled with sunny shades of yellows, creams and whites. With a lighthouse as the backdrop for the ceremony and a feast consisting of Cape Cod favorites like Clam Chowder, Oysters and Cobbler, this sweet wedding is one I'm very much looking forward to.

Israel
A tiny and intimate Israeli village and a bride with a love of approachable and rustic style. I know this wedding will be one of my favorites of all time.

Aspen

Actually this wedding will take place 30 minutes outside of Aspen in a small town called Basalt. This super hip couple will be having a homestyle BBQ complete with picnic tables, mason jars and mismatched plates. The end result will be a comfortable yet ecclectic wedding I can't wait to share with all of you.

Hamptons
Being held at a huge private estate in the Hamptons, I can't wait to bring this couple's vision of a "Midsummer Night's Dream" wedding come to fruition.

Mexico

On the beaches of Cabo, I will be designing a 40 person ceremony and reception complete with local foods, Mariachis and lots of margaritas!

Hawaii

I'm always excited to go back to my old stomping grounds and this sweet, romantic and vintage wedding will definitely be worth the trip!

Big Sur

Inspired by everything organic and local, this rustic yet sophisticated wedding in one of my favorite locations on Earth is going to be a major highlight of the year.

Napa

A rustic winery inspired event with ultra modern touches is so exciting in my book. Can't wait!

Santa Barbara
I honestly get to frequent this area, but I get giddy every time I go! The Spanish architecture, luxurious backdrop and romance that surrounds the community is always the inspiration for my weddings in this sleepy little town.

And, by the way, the little map at the top of the blog was created by the talented Laura Hooper. She is going to be updating this for me every so often as I add new destinations to my list. These "emotional maps" are also great for couples who want to show where they have traveled together or just want to tell a story about their relationship rather than the traditional destination based maps that Laura offers. Check out more emotional maps here...
